TIU Hosts Successful “Visit Your Future” Event for 12th-Grade Students

Tishk International University recently hosted a four-day “Visit Your Future” event for 12th-grade students from various high schools in the region. The event, held from February 19th to 22nd, 2024, was organized by the Dean of Students and welcomed nearly 1,500 students from 30 schools. The program aimed to familiarize high school students with university life and allow them to explore TIU’s academic departments and activities. Students toured the campus, visited department booths, and engaged with faculty and staff to learn more about academic programs, research projects, and other opportunities.

The success of this event was made possible not only by the university’s organization but also through the outstanding efforts of our student volunteers. Their warm hospitality, guidance, and energy ensured that every visitor felt welcomed and supported throughout the program. Many students shared that the friendliness of the volunteers left a lasting impression and made the experience more enjoyable.

The “Visit Your Future” initiative highlights TIU’s commitment to providing high-quality education and building bridges between high schools and higher education. Moving forward, the university aims to expand and enhance this event, offering even more opportunities for high school students to discover TIU’s academic programs and vibrant campus life.
