Tishk International University, through its Career Development Center (CDC) , successfully conducted a two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) Program on Entrepreneurship and Career Development Skills curriculum, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance academic training and student readiness for the labor market in the Kurdistan Region.

The program was:

Participants and Program Outcomes

The program brought together 30 academic staff members nominated by their respective departments. Upon completion, participants are expected to deliver Entrepreneurship Education and Employability Skills courses to final-year students, supporting the integration of these essential subjects into university programs.

The training was delivered by international trainer Dr. Rebean Al-Silefanee, focusing on modern teaching methodologies and practical approaches aligned with global standards in higher education.


Day 1: Entrepreneurship Curriculum

Participants explored how to guide students in developing innovative business ideas. Key topics included:

Participants also engaged in practical activities by creating and presenting business ideas, enhancing their ability to deliver interactive and impactful lessons.


Day 2: Employability Skills Curriculum

The focus shifted to equipping instructors with tools to prepare students for career success. Key topics included:

In addition, activity-based learning methods—including role plays and practical exercises—were emphasized to ensure effective and engaging classroom delivery.

Throughout the program, participants actively engaged in discussions and hands-on exercises, strengthening their capacity to deliver high-quality academic training. This initiative represents a significant step toward:
