As part of the ongoing activities of the Sports Unit under the Dean of Students Office, Tishk International University successfully organized its Fourth Chess Tournament on May 4, 2026, bringing together students and university staff in a competitive and engaging atmosphere.
The tournament featured both male and female categories, with the participation of 28 top players. The competition was conducted over seven rounds, with each game played under a five-minute time control, creating an exciting and fast-paced environment for all participants.
Following a series of highly competitive matches, the results were announced as follows:
Girls’ Category

The tournament concluded with an award ceremony, where prizes were presented to the winners by Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghani, Dean of Students, and Dr. Aram Mohammed, Head of the Sports Unit, in recognition of their outstanding performance and sportsmanship.
