Girl Championship at TIU’s Energetic Table Tennis Tournament
A thrilling table tennis tournament was held in the main building of Tishk International University (TIU) on May 23rd, 2024, a scene of intense competition, unity and sportsmanship. The event attracted a crowd of enthusiastic viewers including both students and faculty members, with over 25 students participating. The tournament was characterised by a number of thrilling matches, but the finale was undoubtedly the most memorable. Nuseba and Dlgash engaged in a match that was characterised by remarkable rallies and impressive skill. Nuseba emerged victorious after a series of intense games, securing the championship title in a feat of superior agility and strategy.
The university’s sports unit, under the guidance of Dr. Aram Khudhur, organised the event with the objective of cultivating a sense of civility and healthy competition among students. In addition to fostering community connections within the university, the tournament served as a platform for showcasing table tennis talents.
