TIU Alumni Center Hosts Civil Engineering Reunion to Strengthen Connections and Innovation
On February 7th, 2025, the TIU Alumni Center hosted a Civil Engineering Alumni Reunion, bringing together graduates, professors, and department heads. The event, supported by the Dean of Students’ Office, provided a platform for alumni to reconnect, exchange knowledge, and explore collaboration opportunities.
The reunion aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, emphasizing quality education, industry innovation, and sustainable partnerships. A key highlight was a competition, where participants presented innovative ideas, and prizes were awarded to the top three winners.
Distinguished attendees included Dr. Barham H. Ali, Head of Civil Engineering, Mr. Hersh Omar, Head of the Career Development Center, and Mr. Frsat Abdullah, Head of the Alumni Center.
Encouraged by the success of this gathering, TIU plans to expand such events to other departments, further strengthening its alumni network and fostering professional growth, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development.
