Tishk International University recently hosted an exciting intra-faculty football tournament organized by the Head of the Sports Unit. The event brought together eight faculties from across the university, with more than 100 participants divided into eight competitive teams. The two-week tournament created a lively and spirited atmosphere on campus.
The competition generated strong enthusiasm among both faculty members and students, showcasing not only athletic talent but also a strong sense of unity and teamwork within the university community.
The final match took place on Sunday, May 11, 2025, between the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Dentistry. The match ended with the Faculty of Dentistry defeating the Faculty of Education (3–0). The event was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Rector Dr. Sultan T. Abu-Orabi, Vice Rector Dr. Mehmet Özdemir, Dr. Fatih Cura Dean of Dentistry, Dr. Jaafar Naqshbandi, Dean of Students Dr. Mohammed Abdulghani, and Dr. Aram, Head of the Sports Unit. Faculty members from both finalist teams were also in attendance, offering their full support.
Beyond the competitive spirit, the tournament played a significant role in strengthening relationships between students and faculty, while reaffirming the university’s commitment to encouraging engagement beyond academic life.
