Kurdistan University Football Championship – Erbil
Tishk International University hosted the Kurdistan University Football Championship on its campus in Erbil, with the participation of more than six public and private universities from across the region. The championship was conducted over a period of more than three weeks in a knockout (double elimination) format, featuring a high level of competition among the participating universities.
Following a series of competitive matches, Tishk International University and Polytechnic University qualified for the final match. The final was held on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, in the presence of university officials, vice-rectors, academic staff, and invited guests.
The final match concluded in a draw during regular time and was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout.
