An Alumni Reunion organized by Tishk International universityAlumni Center, Dean of Students, in collaboration with Faculty of Nursing on December 27, 2025 at Ibn Sina Hall, inside the campus. The event brought together nursing graduates, academic staff, and university representatives to strengthen alumni engagement and professional collaboration.
The reunion aimed to enhance connections between alumni and the university, provide a platform for professional networking, and encourage the exchange of experiences related to nursing practice, career development, and healthcare sector needs. Alumni actively took part in discussions, sharing insights that support continuous improvement in nursing education.
The event was attended by several distinguished members of the university administration and academic community, including Prof. Dr. Hiwa Banna, Dean of the Faculty, heads of nursing department Banna, and nursing faculty members, especially Dr. Yunus Yildiz, Ms. Zaynab Yaseen, and Ms. Hanan Azad. The event was coordinated by Mrs. Lavin Kawa, Alumni Coordinator, with the participation of Mr. Hersh Omer, Coordinator of the Career Development Center (CDC).
Attendees emphasized the importance of alumni engagement in enhancing academic programs and supporting current students through mentorship and collaboration. Following the formal program, participants went outside the campus to spend time with alumni and enjoy a meal, providing an informal setting for further networking and interaction.
The Reunion concluded with positive feedback from participants and a shared commitment to organizing similar alumni activities in the future. Tishk International University plans to continue expanding such initiatives across other faculties to further strengthen its alumni network and promote long-term professional collaboration.
