On October 13th, 2025, TIU Alumni Coordinator Ms. Lavin Kawa, accompanied by Ms. Wafa Wasfi from the Architecture Engineering Department, visited Ms. Lana Srud, an alumna of the Architecture Engineering Department, Class of 2021–2022. Ms. Lana is currently working in the real estate sector on the Pavilion Project in Erbil, Iraq, while also pursuing her master’s degree alongside her professional career.
At the same time and location, they also visited Mr. Balen Farhan, a graduate of the Architecture Engineering Department, Class of 2023–2024, who is currently working as an engineer at the Pavilion Project.
The visit focused on the alumni’s academic and professional journeys, their experiences in balancing work and further studies, and the valuable role TIU graduates play in shaping the future of the real estate and architectural sectors. The discussion also included ideas for enhancing alumni engagement and building stronger connections between graduates and the university to support future career development.
