Dean of Students organized an art exhibition at Tishk International University’s main building on 24th May, 2018. The exhibition was opened to people between 10:00 and 15:00. It contained 25 Art Works which have been done by Tishk International University’s students.
On the date 22 of February 2018 Student Deanery with the cooperation of Khoshnaw Group organized a PlayStation tournament for Tishk International University Students, more than 40 players participated and enjoyed a beautiful game together. The competition was very hard for the most of them was good especially by playing FIFA 2018, at the end Dentistry student Muhammed got the first place and Sipan from Business get the second place. Khoshnaw Group rewarded the winners and motivated them to participate in these kinds of activities.
Table Tennis Tournament for all students organized by Education Faculty on May 20th, 2018. The tournament continued for one week and 26 players participated. In the final match, two players took a place: Didar Muahmmed and Mustafa Basil. After a beautiful game, Mustafa Basil won the title. Mr. Pshtiwan lecturer at Physics of Education Department awarded the winners and wishes more success in their career.
The Club Activities providing social responsibility, environmental sensitivity and personal development offer the opportunity of reinforcing the education. Tishk International University. Dean of Students organizes art clubs for students, staff and alumni each year. Our office is in charge to complete our university’s mission in social perspective with “student clubs”. We collaborate with departments not only for departmental clubs but also for art, sports and social responsibility clubs. There are different types of art clubs like Cuisine, Drawing, Art Crafts, Ceramic, Stone, Charcoal, Wood Painting. This year, approximately 75 people attended to art club each week.
Faculty of Education of Tishk International University has organized a Football Tournament starting from 22nd of April till the 10th of May. 11 teams with 88 students from all grades from all departments of education faculty participated in the tournament in which all the teams had a great friendship and fair play. On 10th of May 2018 the final match was has been done between both Physic 3rd grade student and Physic 4th grade students at 16:00 pm. While students’ technical skills may get their foot in the door, their people skills are what open most of the doors to come. Their work ethic, their attitude, their communication skills, their emotional intelligence and a whole host of other personal attributes are the soft skills that are crucial for life and career success. For this reason, Dean of Students Social Affairs and Guidance department organize soft skills seminars every week to develop students’ personal development and value education and enable them to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people. Approximately 100 students attended to the seminars weekly from various departments.
On 19 May 2018 Tishk International Football team played a friendly match with Erbil Youth Football team. in the beginning, Sivar scored the first goal for Tishk International Football team, Then the opponent scored and made it 1-1. in the second half, the opponent scored the second goal and make it 2-1. 10 Minutes before ending the match Sivar scored the second goal and make it 2-2, and the match finished (2-2). We would like to thank the players and the manager for their effort.
On 21 December 2017 as Alumni Office paid a visit to Korek Telecom. The aim of our visiting was staying in contact with our graduates and presenting our office and its activities briefly. The most important point is to see what they are doing after graduating. Our graduates from different department like Information Technology, Business and Computer Engineering works in Korek Telecom. Each them has different position and they are very successful in their work. We talked about our Alumni Office in detail and its activities. We spent a nice time with them and we look forward to see them in university.
On February 7, 2018 our alumni Aram Farhad from Civil Engineering department presented a speech about Introduction to Civil Engineering in generally to freshmen students of the same department. During the seminar Mr.Aram talked about the stages that he passed through and motivated them to study hard in their field because nowadays sciences become more widely. He indicated that being optimistic is one of the key successes in life. On Saturday, September 29, 2017, the Alumni Office and Civil Engineering Department hosted a Reunion Event for the Class of 2017. The Reunion Event was held to reunite former friends and lecturers who have known and been together for last four years, to relive memories that would last forever. Alumni students were so excited about the event. Despite all the precious moments, activities and speeches there was a photo slideshow presented to take them back into their delight moments.
