CDC and Prep School at TIU Hosted Workshop on Mastering Public Speaking in Collaboration with House of Arts and Music/Erbil

In collaboration with the House of Arts and Music, Erbil, the “Voice Production and Vocal Health for Public Speaking Excellence” workshop was hosted by the CDC and Preparatory School at Tishk International University (TIU) on April 29th, 2024. This workshop, which was conducted on the university’s premises, attracted students and faculty members who were enthusiastic about improving their public speaking abilities.

The workshop, which was led by Dr. Gerbirt, explored the fundamental communication strategies that are essential for effective public speaking. Participants participated in interactive sessions that investigated voice modulation, projection, and articulation, acquiring practical insights that are applicable to a variety of personal and professional situations.

Attendees were provided with personalised feedback throughout the workshop, which served to enhance their confidence and refine their capabilities. Dr. Gerbirt highlighted the importance of vocal health in the preservation of performance excellence, offering invaluable advice on the maintenance of optimal vocal care practices.
