CDC-DoS at TIU’s 9th Career Days Hosts Insightful Panel on Essential Construction Skills

The 9th Career Days event, hosted by the Career Development Center, Dean of Students at Tishk International University (TIU) on February 27th, 2024, was highlighted by an engaging panel discussion that focused on the “Essential Construction Skills Expected from Engineering Students.” Dr. Barham Haydar, Prof. Dr. Huseyn Ali, Mr. Hlat Aziz Rauf, and Mr. Haval Salih comprised the panel, which was moderated by Mr. Heersh Omar. Their collective expertise enlightened critical aspects of the construction industry, including technical proficiency and project management acumen. Students acquired invaluable insights into the skillsets required for success in the field amidst the backdrop of over 146 job vacancies and internship programmes. The panel acted as a beacon of guidance, enabling students to confidently and competently navigate the intricacies of the construction sector.
