Students and Staff Honor Heritage with Creativity and Collaboration

On December 17, 2025, Tishk International University proudly celebrated Kurdish Flag Day through a vibrant series of cultural and artistic activities. The celebration took place throughout the day, creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere on campus and bringing together students, staff, and various university units to honor Kurdish identity, history, and heritage.


Organizers and Coordinators

The event was organized by Art Club teachers Mrs. Khumar Rashid Hamed (Art Supervisor) and Ms. Yusra Wirya Pirbal (Handcraft Supervisor), whose dedication and guidance played a significant role in the success of the activity. Coordination was led by Ms. Gala Abdullah Ibrahim and Mr. Bokan Asaad Hassan, ensuring smooth organization, effective communication, and strong collaboration among participants.

Educational and Community Impact

The preparation process was an enriching educational experience. Students worked side by side, exchanged ideas, and supported one another, strengthening both artistic skills and their sense of belonging to the university community. The activity encouraged leadership, active engagement, and confidence, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talents in a public and respectful environment.
