University Showcases Commitment to Student Engagement and Social Impact

December 2, 2025 – Tishk International University proudly announces the success of the “Community Service Projects and Extracurricular Activities Day,” a heartwarming event organized by the Dean of Students in collaboration with all faculties.

The event was hosted by student Shazad Hassan Babakr from the Computer Education Department and featured an inspiring speech by Professor Dr. Sultan Abu Orabi, University President, who enriched the program with valuable insights and motivation.


Social Community Projects and Food Fundraising

The main focus was to support impactful Social Community Projects aimed at serving society and meeting community needs. Alongside the projects, the day featured a vibrant Food Fundraising initiative. All funds collected will be directed toward supporting Social Community Projects, strengthening the university’s mission to help those in need.


Introduction to Dean of Students Units

The event featured an introduction to the following units:

  • Dean of Students Office

  • Career Development Center Unit

  • Alumni Center Unit

  • Sports Activities Unit

  • Clubs Unit

  • Events and Student Council Unit

These units play a vital role in supporting student development, engagement, and success throughout their academic journey.


Kurdish Cultural Tent

The event also included a Kurdish Cultural Tent, beautifully representing the rich heritage, traditions, and cultural identity of Kurdistan, highlighting the importance of preserving and celebrating local culture within the university community.
