Faculty of Applied Science Claims First Place
The Football Tournament for Teachers and Employees at Tishk International University concluded successfully under the supervision of the Deanship of Students – Sports Unit.
The tournament featured the participation of eight teams representing various faculties and administrative units: Education, Dentistry, Engineering, Maintenance, Applied Science, Law + Nursing, FASE, and Service Providers. The matches were conducted in a Double-Elimination format, promoting fair competition and active engagement among staff members. The tournament extended over more than three weeks, reflecting the enthusiasm and commitment of the participants.
Final Match and Results
The final match, held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, was attended by the Dean of Students, the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science, the Head of the Sports Unit, along with numerous faculty members and guests. The final competition took place between the Faculty of Applied Science team and the Service Providers team.
Following a highly competitive and enjoyable match, the Faculty of Applied Science team secured first place, defeating the Service Providers team. The tournament concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, during which awards and medals were presented to the winners of first and second places.
Objectives Achieved
The event successfully achieved its objectives of strengthening collegial relationships, promoting physical activity, and fostering a spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship among university staff.
