The Dean of Students at Tishk International University held an event for Christian students and staff on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. On this day. The event commenced with a welcoming speech delivered by the event host Branda Baha, our senior student.
A welcoming speech was also delivered by the Head of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Idris Hadi, he welcomed and congratulated the distinguished guests and all Christian students on this day.
To mark this particular day, Mr. Father Martin, a Representative of the Catholic Church, and Mr. Rami Nuri, the Director of Ankawa District were welcomed to address students and participants at TIU. They both wished a merry Christmas and a happy new year to all. After their speech, one of our students who follow the Christian faith delivered a presentation to explain the importance of the day, and what Christmas represents. Eventually, all participants were invited to take a group photo and enjoy traditional food.
