Head of the Sports Unit at Tishk International University Participates in the Annual Meeting of the Iraqi Universities Sports Federation
The Head of the Sports Unit at Tishk International University participated in the annual meeting of the Iraqi Universities Sports Federation, which was held on Thursday, 25 December 2025, in Erbil, with the participation of representatives from more than thirty public and private universities from across the country.
The meeting was convened as part of the Federation’s regular activities to review and approve its annual sports plan and programs for Iraqi universities. During the session, extensive discussions were held regarding the organization of university sports activities for the upcoming period, with particular emphasis on the proposed schedules, locations, and logistical arrangements of various sports tournaments.
Participants also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation among universities, improving the quality of university sports competitions, and promoting student engagement in athletic activities at the national level. The meeting concluded with several recommendations aimed at strengthening coordination between member universities and ensuring the successful implementation of the Federation’s annual sports agenda.
