On 17 December 2025, Tishk International University (TIU) proudly hosted a series of cultural music performances as part of the Kurdish Flag Day celebrations. The event took place across the university campus and brought together students, academic staff, and various university units in a vibrant and meaningful cultural atmosphere.
The activity was organized by the Music Club under the supervision of Mr. Rebwar Abdullah Hussein, Daf Club Teacher, and Mr. Mohammed Kamal Othman, Saz Club Teacher, in close collaboration with a group of talented and passionate students. The event was coordinated by Ms. Gala Abdullah Ibrahim and Mr. Bokan Asaad Hassan, whose efforts played an important role in ensuring the smooth organization and success of the celebration.

Throughout the day, the sound of Kurdish music filled the campus, creating moments of joy, reflection, and pride among the audience. Students and instructors performed together, singing cultural songs collectively, which strengthened the sense of unity, belonging, and shared cultural memory. These moments allowed participants not only to enjoy music, but also to emotionally connect with their heritage and with one another.
