Opening Ceremony Marks Launch of Youth Employment Training Course at TIU
On February 13th, 2024, Tishk International University (TIU) commemorated the commencement of the three-month Youth Employment Kurdistan training course. The Career Development Center-DOS (CDC) initiated an ambitious initiative, which was funded by the Netherlands consulate and was executed in partnership with Wedo Company, during the opening ceremony.
The objective of this collaborative initiative is to equip young individuals, including a substantial number of final-year students from TIU, with the necessary skills to succeed in the modern job market. The programme, which will be in effect from March 3rd to June 15th, 2024, offers a comprehensive curriculum that is intended to improve the employability and career prospects of participants.
Participants will participate in six hours of skill development courses per week for a total of three months. These courses will be conducted by seasoned professionals with extensive experience in the labour market. These courses are designed to meet the current needs of the industry, providing participants with the necessary skills to succeed in a variety of professional environments.
The Youth Employment Programme in the Kurdistan Region (KRI) has established itself on the campus of Tishk International University, demonstrating the institution’s dedication to the advancement of youth development and socio-economic progress in the region.
TIU wishes all participants of the Youth Employment KRI programme continued success as the programme progresses. This initiative endeavours to provide the youth of Kurdistan with the resources and opportunities necessary to establish prosperous and fulfilling futures by means of collaborative endeavours and dedication.
