Nearly 1,000 Students Graduate Across Eight Faculties

The 14th Graduation Ceremony of Tishk International University, organized by the Dean of Students, was held on September 30, 2025, marking an important celebration of the academic accomplishments of the Class of 2025.

This year, nearly 1,000 undergraduate students proudly graduated from eight faculties — Dentistry, Engineering, Law, Administrative Sciences and Economics (FASE), Education, Science, Pharmacy, and Nursing — each receiving their degrees in a ceremony filled with pride, joy, and reflection.

Opening Ceremony and Distinguished Guests

The program commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Dr. Muhammed Abdulghani, Dean of Students, followed by the national anthem. The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Ibrahim Haji Rashid, General Director of Private Institutes at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who shared heartfelt words of encouragement and best wishes for the graduates’ futures.

Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees at TIU, delivered an inspiring speech, expressing gratitude to the university’s trustees, distinguished guests, faculty members, and graduating students for their collective success and contribution to TIU’s growing legacy. The university’s President, Prof. Dr. Sultan T. Abu Orabi, warmly welcomed all attendees and extended his congratulations to the Class of 2025.

Top Achievers and Student Speeches

Among the highlights were speeches delivered by the university’s top achievers, Ms. Chra Idris Hadi from the English Language Teaching Department and Mr. Ayoob Mohammed Othman from the Business and Management Department. Both graduates achieved the highest GPA at the university and represented their fellow students with messages reflecting on their academic journeys and future aspirations.

Following the official addresses, top students from each department received plaques of appreciation for their academic excellence. The event then proceeded to the conferring of degrees, as each graduate walked across the stage to receive their certificate — a moment symbolizing years of dedication and perseverance.

Acknowledgements and Gratitude

The university extends its warmest congratulations to all graduates. TIU acknowledges the invaluable efforts of faculty members, academic advisors, and university staff, whose guidance and commitment supported students throughout their educational journey. Sincere gratitude is also extended to everyone who contributed to the success of this memorable event — especially the Organizing Committee, members, and volunteers.
