Dean of Students Organizes Special Event Honoring Coexistence and Unity
The Dean of Students at Tishk International University organized a special event to celebrate Christmas with Christian students on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.
Opening Remarks
The event began with a warm welcome delivered by the event host, Miss Ilyanoor Faris Yousif, a student from the Dentistry Department. In her opening remarks, she highlighted the importance of coexistence, mutual respect, and unity between Muslims and Christians, emphasizing the values of harmony and understanding that bring the university community together.
Guest Speakers
Following this, Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustees, addressed the audience, warmly welcoming and congratulating the distinguished guests and Christian students on this special occasion.
The event was further honored by the presence and speech of Mr. Ramy Noory, Member of the Kurdistan Regional Government Parliament and Former Mayor of Ankawa, who addressed the students and participants. Both speakers extended their heartfelt wishes for a Happy New Year.
Conclusion
The event concluded with a group photo session, followed by an opportunity for participants to enjoy traditional food in a friendly atmosphere.
