Over 70 Students Compete in Two-Day Tournament

Tishk International University successfully organized its Fifth Annual Archery Championship as part of its extracurricular activities. The event was launched by the Sports Unit of the Dean of Students, reflecting the university’s continued commitment to promoting sportsmanship and active student engagement.

The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation, with more than 70 students from various departments competing in the two-day tournament. The competition was marked by a high level of skill, discipline, and sportsmanship among the participants.


Final Round and Winners

The final round took place on February 9, 2026, on the TIU campus, featuring outstanding performances from both male and female finalists. The event concluded with the announcement of the first, second, and third place winners following a series of competitive matches.


Closing Ceremony

The closing ceremony was attended by:

  • Assistant Professor Dr. Aram Kh. Mohammed – Director of the Sports Unit

During the ceremony, medals and awards were presented to the winners in recognition of their achievements and dedication.
