Tishk International University Shines at Inter-University Table Tennis Tournament
In a display of agility and sportsmanship, Tishk International University (TIU) proudly participated as guests in an inter-university table tennis tournament held on March 3rd, 2024, at Salahaddin University of Erbil. The event, which saw the participation of 10 universities from across Kurdistan, was a vibrant showcase of talent, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and competition among the region’s top academic institutions.
This year’s tournament was notable for its inclusive representation, welcoming both female and male competitors to demonstrate their prowess in a series of intensely contested matches. The venue at Salahaddin University buzzed with excitement and competitive energy, as students from various universities came together to challenge and learn from one another.
Among the highlights of the tournament was the commendable performance of the TIU table tennis team. Particularly noteworthy was the achievement of TIU’s female participants, who showcased exceptional skill and determination. The team, comprising Mirna Ghazwan, Nusaiba Salim, and Dilgash Fareeq, distinguished themselves admirably, securing the third position in the female category.
