Tishk International University (TIU), through its Career Development Center (CDC) under the Dean of Students, in collaboration with the Business and Management Department and the Events Unit, successfully launched the first session of its training program titled “Essential Skills for Youth Leaders” and “Introduction to Soft Skills.”

The session was designed to strengthen students’ personal and professional capabilities by introducing essential soft skills that support both academic success and future career readiness. It brought together faculty members, departmental representatives, and students in an engaging and interactive learning environment that promotes practical, inclusive, and student-centered learning.

The event took place on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM in Hall 302, Education Building, with strong participation and enthusiasm from attendees.

The session was delivered by:

  • Mr. Fayaq Ali Ali, Business and Management Department

During the session, participants explored key competencies such as communication, leadership, teamwork, and personal effectiveness—skills that are essential for building successful careers and contributing meaningfully to the workplace. The speakers emphasized the importance of empowering youth with practical knowledge and transferable skills that enhance employability, encourage innovation, and support long-term professional growth.

This session marks the beginning of a series of training activities aimed at preparing TIU students to confidently transition from education to employment and to actively contribute to a dynamic and evolving labor market.
