Alumni Center Hosts Grand Reunion for Computer Engineering Alumni to Foster Innovation and Collaboration

On February 27th, 2025, the Alumni Center at Tishk International University (TIU) hosted a grand reunion for the Computer Engineering Department, bringing together former students, professors, and department heads. This event aligned with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including promoting quality education, industry innovation and infrastructure, and fostering partnerships for sustainable development.

Supported by the Dean of Students’ Office, the reunion provided a platform for alumni to reconnect, exchange knowledge, and explore opportunities for collaboration that can contribute to technological advancements and sustainable solutions. The event highlighted TIU’s ongoing commitment to lifelong learning, innovation, and responsible leadership in the field of computer engineering.

The event also featured a competition among participants, with prizes awarded to the top three winners. The competition sparked active engagement and the sharing of innovative ideas. Key figures at the event included Mr. Musa M. Ameen, Head of Computer Engineering, Mr. Hersh Omar, Head of the Career Development Center, and Mr. Frsat Abdullah, Head of the Alumni Center.
