On Monday, November 14, 2022, Tishk International University had the honor of hosting a seminar on the topic of “U.S. Education System and Student Visas”. The event was organized by the Dean of Students, Career Center Unit, in collaboration with the International Relations Office (IRO) and International Relations & Diplomacy Department. The seminar was well-attended by students and staff and was graced by the presence of the President of Tishk International University, Dr. Abdulsamad S. Ahmad.
The seminar was delivered by the U.S consulate General of Erbil and provided valuable insights into the U.S education system and the process of obtaining student visas. Attendees were able to gain an understanding of the different options available for studying in the U.S, the requirements for obtaining student visas.
This seminar was a great opportunity for the students and staff of Tishk International University to learn about a topic that is of great importance to many of them. It will help them make more informed decisions about their future education and career plans. The collaboration between the Dean of Students, Career Center and International Relations Office (IRO), as well as International Relations & Diplomacy Department, enabled the organization of this valuable event, which was greatly appreciated by the audience.
