As it is known by all, Tishk International University Club unit always tries its best to help students to develop socially and bring the potential skills out of the students. That is why the Tishk International University clubs continue with their amazing activities through this semester.
Great weather gathered Computer Engineering graduates class of 2017. Alumni office with cooperation of Computer Engineering department made its reunion on Saturday, November 10, 2017. The event took place at Tishk International University campus that started with alumni welcoming and getting together for discussion and chatting, it was followed by lunch, then we updated their information’s for our career center and trying our best to find vacancy for them and the event ended by group photo taking.
Student Deanery of Tishk International University organized a food fundraising event on December 05, 2018 with the support and contribution of our volunteer students and staff in the entrance of the main building. In the presence of Dr. Idris Hadi, Head of Board of Trustees and Tishk International University staff commenced the event after the ribbon cutting. Mercy Corner Project On December 20, 2018, Tishk International University finalized the Mercy Corner Project by delivering the collected donations for the Hassan Sham Camp, which there are 1200 IDPs families living in there that most of them from Mosul. The amount of the donations estimated to be around 40,000 $ which we prepared a package for each family includes (men cloth, women cloth, toys, 5 kg of rice, two bottles of oil, lentils, shoes, blanket, diaper, socks, two types of kids clothes, baby clothes). On September 25, 2018, Student Deanery organized “Welcome Ceremony” for the new staff who joined Tishk International family for this academic year in the main building. during the ceremony we talked about the units and our activities also we paid attention for their valuable suggestions and ideas regarding social activity and community in our academic calendar.Finally we had lunch together at the end of the program.
Two of Tishk International University graduates published their graduation project Mohammad Sardar and Ahmad Mufti are graduates of IT department - Tishk International University, the year 2017-2018. Their graduation project was on developing a website for Kurdistan Football League to publish the data and statistics to football fans in Kurdistan. Tishk International university architecture department had its first group of graduation this year (2018), Aryan is one of the students who we believe will bring change to the field of architecture in this region through his achievements and vision for the future of our country. Dean of Students organized “Welcome Ceremony” for the 5th grade students of Dentistry department in Dentistry building on November 08, 2018. We introduced the extracurricular activities to them and made a presentation about the units of Dean of Students and its activities. We accepted their suggestions about the social activities and community service projects in our academic calendar. We had lunch together at the end of the program. We, as Student Deanery, wish a success and full of joy for all of our students.
Summer School Announcement Within the context of ‘Mapping Project in Erbil’ funded by DAAD Germany, we are looking for 5 eligible students to work in this 2-year project. The electees will travel to Germany for 15-day summer school in June 2019. The students will be selected through an interview in the indicated dates below. Dean of Students organized an Art Exhibition at main building on the campus on 31st May, 2018. The exhibition started in the morning. Students at the art club exhibited their hand crafts like every year. We thank our students for their great work.
