There are many students who stay in dormitories far away from their families and relatives in Erbil city. For this purpose, TIU has arranged Iftar in cooperation with Haji Idris Foundation in Abu Shahab City during the Holy month of Ramadan. On the day of 22nd and 23rd of May, 2019 an exhibition was opened to show more than 30 works of art under the name of shadows of graphic. This contained aluminum boards with pictures being scratched on them. This is for the first time, we hold such a kind of exhibition. It was presented in the entrance of the main and it continued for two days. The first Ride On! Erbil International Bike Marathon took place on 30th November, 2018 which involved hundreds of bike riders, including professional cyclists, local community members, displaced Iraqis and Syrian refugees, under the theme Unity in Diversity.  The event was organized by IOM’s in partnership with cooperation TIU and some other partners. In this event more than 250 people participated in the bike ride, including over 150 women. On the day May 6th 2019, Tishk International University held an exhibition regarding Kurdish culture. In this exhibition several paintings and drawings were presented. It is location was in the entrance of the main building, and continued for from 10:00 to 15:30. The teacher and the students were very happy to tour around the gallery so that they will enjoy the beauty of the pictures and the serenity of the environment.  The paintings were produced by the assistants of Interior Design department. On the day of 6th March 2019, Tishk International University held a Photographic exhibition for its talented students. The exhibition was composed of nearly 20 different photos of the beautiful nature of Kurdistan in winter from various places of Kurdistan. The gallery was supervised by the dean of students and started from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
