Around 200 Students Compete in Faculty Heats and Grand Finale
On Tuesday, February 10, 2025, the Career Development Center (CDC) , in collaboration with the Dean of Students and various faculties at Tishk International University, successfully organized the 2nd TIU Genius Competition at Ibn Sina Hall, New Dentistry Building.
The competition brought together around 200 students, along with faculty deans, heads of departments, and academic staff, creating a vibrant and intellectually engaging atmosphere.
Competition Format and Topics
The event was conducted using the Kahoot platform and covered a wide range of topics including:

Kurdistan

TIU rankings and accreditations

General knowledge
The competition aimed to enhance students’ critical thinking, knowledge, and interactive learning experience.
Two-Phase Structure
The competition was structured in two main phases:

Faculty Heats – Each faculty selected its top-performing student

Grand Finale (General Genius Competition) – Finalists competed at the university level
Winners and Awards
At the conclusion of the competition, Shwkatbag Edris Shwkit from the Faculty of Dentistry secured first place and was awarded by his faculty dean, Dr. Omar Naqishbandi, in recognition of his outstanding performance. Awards were also presented to the second and third place winners.
