On the 09th of November 2022, the Dean of Students Faculty at Tishk International University organized a mega event to demonstrate the role of the university in society through different academic, social, scientific, and community serving projects. The event started by the welcome speech from the event host Biza Ismail followed a welcoming speech to our TIU respectful staff, Students, and honoree guests. However, the event was commenced with the head of the Board of Trustees Dr. Idris Hadi speech who could speak out about the importance of university in society and the role these social activities play in enhancing the quality of life and education.
Throughout the event time, students and visitors were introduced the TIU-clubs (like, Sport Club, Art Club, Music Club, Reading & discussion Club, Language Club, etc.) that are taking place at the university. Our staff and students had the chance to write their names to their clubs of interest and join many other social activities.
While the major side of the event included the demonstration for the social community projects that are annually organized and supervised by different faculties. More than 25 social projects were exhibited. Each faculty had a massive role during and before the event and they presented their social project and the explanation made through the volunteer students and staff.
However, the event also included a Food fundraising section where funds were collected for charity and social giving back.
