Tishk International University (TIU) took place in a basketball tournament in Zakho from February 26, 2022, to March 01, 2022, that was organized by Zakho University. Along with TIU, six more universities participated in the tournament including University of Suleimani, University of Zakho, The American University of Kurdistan-Duhok, Salahaddin University, University of Duhok, and Komar University of Science and Technology. The Dean of Students of Tishk International University (TIU) arranged a table tennis tournament on February 01, 2022, for all TIU students and staffs. 75 players participated in the tournament. The final match was held with the greatest contribution of both students and lecturers on Wednesday, March 9th, 2022. The final match was won by Abdul-Malek Ismail Rostam, a Medical Analysis Student who took 1st place, and Muhammad Arif Omar from the Computer Engineering Department took second place. A friendly basketball match was done between the TIU Basketball Team and Akkad Ankawa Sport Club on Monday, February 20th, 2022. The aim of this match was to build a link and collaborate with each other soon in the field of basketball sport. It was a great match and both teams played an outstanding performance. At the end of the match, the TIU gifts were distributed among all players of both teams. Then special gift was exchanged between the TIU and the president of Akkad Ankawa Sport Club.

Dean of Students held a satisfactory opportunity for the 12th graders for boys’ and girls’ students of (New Rizgary Private High School) on November 23, and 25, 2021. 136 students with their teachers visited TIU campus and they were all welcomed kindly and treated accordingly by the university staff members and they were pleased for that invitation. We as TIU thanked their visit and hoped the best for the students. Eventually, we have our special appreciations for all faculties and staff members collaboration.

Dean of Students of Tishk International University hosted a group of Information Technology department of Aynda Private Technical Institute at TIU campus on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Dean of Students held a delightful opportunity for the 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students of (Nerozh Non-Government Education Compound School) on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Tishk International University. Dean of Students of Tishk International University organized an art exhibition on January 5,2022 under the title of "Hope Exhibition". The exhibition contained 14 paintings in which all of them have been painted by our talented students Sanar Dara, from ELT Department. the ribbon of the exhibition has been cut by Dr.Idress Hadi, Board of Trustees, Dr. Abdulsamad S. Ahmad, TIU president, and some other lecturers. We are so proud of our talented students and hope to see more such activities in coming times.
