The Dean of Students at the university organized a thrilling table tennis tournament exclusively for female students on May 3rd, 2023. The event was held at the Main Building and was supervised by Dr. Aram Kh. Mohammed. A highly-anticipated final match between staff members Nusaiba and Niga took place during the tournament. In a recent Dean of Students meeting held on April 17, 2023, student representatives discussed a range of pressing issues concerning campus life and facilities. Key topics included the proposal to open a mosque, ventilation in smoking areas, sharing information with students, Photo Day, graduation gown sizing, a charity fund, the Career Center, organizing meetings, Mercy Corner, FASE department requests, the sound of gunfire during exams, laboratory rooms, elevator problems, library concerns, damaged university equipment, seating and shade areas, the cafeteria, lack of space for sports, and research problems. Erbil, Kurdistan Region - Tishk International University recently held a highly anticipated inter-faculty football tournament, which ran from February 27th to March 6th. The event was attended by eight faculties, comprising students from all over the university, and was organized by the Dean of Students in the Department of Sports Activities, Dr. Aram Kh. Mohammed. The Dean of Students of TIU organized an art exhibition entitled “Ramadan Art Exhibition”, held on 2 of April,2023. The exhibitions displayed 22 portraits that were all drawn by art club students’ under the supervision of Mrs.Khumar Rasheed, Art Club Instructor at TIU.
